Co-designers, husband and wife Nathalie Martin and entrepreneur, Garbriel Schettini founded Martin Schettini, in 2002. The jewelry collection quickly captured the attention of the international luxury buying elite. The Haitian-born designer couple has traveled extensively throughout their lives, inspiring the designs, which also owe much to Nathalie's life history- rich with the design and experience of crafting the finest accessories.

 

  As a young child, Nathalie was greatly influenced by her mother and her grandmother. Thus was born her love of all things precious.

  Nathalie came to New York when she was 18 to study design at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied accessory design.

 

     Before her FIT graduation, Nathalie had already landed a position as handbag designer for Kleinberg Sherrill Accessories, where she honed her talent for crafting from exotic materials by designing luxurious handbags. there she also launched a fine jewelry collection that was covered by all of the fashion press including stories in W and Vogue.
